Bio

Nikolas Parissis
I am a photographer based in Thessaloniki, Greece. My work explores the human experience through a societal lens, blending photojournalism, editorial photography, and conceptual storytelling. I strive to capture the essence of human interactions, emotions, and the structures that shape our lives.
In addition to my photographic endeavors, I am a PhD candidate at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in soil science and environmental engineering. My academic journey complements my artistic perspective, offering me a unique outlook on the intersections between humanity and the environment.
I have worked as an editorial photographer for Exostis Press, documenting compelling stories through imagery. My work has been featured in art exhibitions, where I use photography to spark conversations about social issues and shared human experiences. I also work as a freelancer for theatrical plays, collaborating with creatives to translate the magic of live performances into powerful visuals.
Through my lens, I aim to highlight people's and communities' beauty, complexity, and resilience, turning everyday moments into lasting narratives.
